Default McCloud River this weekend Aug 1-3

I am considering running the McCloud river from Fowler's campground to the reservoir this coming weekend and need people to go with.

I have not run this river and am looking for some people to go with who know it; also, need a second car for the shuttle. If anyone has any tips or recommendations for this section of the river, it would be greatly appreciated.

I was not sure if the flow is high enough. The flow into the reservoir is at 700 cfs and cacreeks says to expect about 20% of that at the put-in. Is that enough? How quickly does the flow pick up as you go down the river? Thanks.
