First off, a big thanks to all that came out for the race; we had our highest number of participants ever. Let the record show that I was unable to cheat sufficiently this year; Jason Hale demonstrated mad long-boat, frog-man, Russian saving skills. Let the record also show that he has no Karaoke skills whatsoever.

The Giant Slalom provided extreme entertainment this year. The micro-eddy bonus proved to be the undoing of many paddlers; especially Kurt Perkins who won the coveted Golden Booty award at this location. If anyone has pictures of this, we would love to blow it up and put it on the brewery wall. Honorable mention to Serge's 90-second-12-roll-frog-man-extraction and Tim's skirt implosion to stern stall to mystery move - all classic moments for sure. There were 25 bonus seconds up for grabs this year between the micro-eddy, waterfall and paddle toss obstacles.
