Is there a way to hike to clavey falls on the T? If so how do I go about doing it? Can you hike the clavey river to the confluence with the T or is there a better way?
Thanks

"Hike the Clavey river to the confluence with the T" Now that I'd like to see.....(hah ha ha)
Seriously now, yes you can hike into the T at Clavey Falls. Start by getting a topo map and finding a route on the river left side of the T. Think of it as a choose your own adventure. It has been done a few times this year so it shouldn't be to hard to find the way as there is probably a trail. Hope that helps
oh and why you have your map out, take a look at the area around the Clavey drainage....quite the undertaking don't you think?
The trail that begins above Clavey Falls climbs out of the canyon to Ferretti Road from above the left bank.

the USGS quad has a trail BELOW Clavey, but note the folks that hiked in did so ABOVE Clavey as mentioned above

Actually there is a good trail down to the Clavey "T" confluence on river left as noted. It's about 2 miles or so but.............it is rather steep with lots of switchbacks and poison oak. Going down it is not so bad but I would not look forward to the hike back up especially with any type of load but maybe thats just me.
The hard part is finding the trail head. Go past the turn off road to the upper "T" put-in about a mile or so and look for a small dirt road on your right. The dirt road is about .75mi long and just ends in a clearing at the top of the ridge (great veiw BTW). Look for a sign at the trail head so you know your in the right place. GL
