Selling my Riot Boogie. I got it used last year and have moved to a Reaction. Only selling it 'cause I'm not using it.
Comes with boat, foam outfiting, fins, fin boxes, and skirt.
This boat is perfect for wave surfing or park&play at a nice river wave. Corran Addison's design allows for high-performance surfing with a tough plastic boat. I took 1st in the Santa Cruz Surf Kayak Festival last year with this boat and proved that this boat's lines can perform. I surfed a LL Space Cadet and an EZ before this boat. I was in the Boogie for less than 9 months before last year's Santa Cruz Contest. The boat surfs itself.
If your surfing waves with a beach-ball playboat and want more speed and more carving, buy this boat. The bottom is flat and the rails are hard. These two elements allow the surfer to speed down the green and carve up the wave into the lip. Squash tail makes radical moves easy. It blunts easier than ever and I've even lifted this boat above the lip for some air.
Yellow in color (like Barbarit) and in great shape. One small crack on the cockpit rim, but it doesn't let in water. I took out the foot pegs and replaced it with foam for a snug more comfortable fit. I also took out the fin boxes 'cause fins really are not necessary for this boat. I still have the foot pegs and fin boxes if you want to put them back in. Fins are easy to epoxy in if you really want them (fins included in price).
Easier to roll than a playboat and much faster during the paddle out.
PERFECT TRANSITIONG BETWEEN PLAYBOAT AND SURF KAYAK!
I'm selling the boat for $150 less than I paid. It's a good deal for a boat that has proven itself in the surf. $400!
