On Sept 15-18, Charlie Walbridge will be out from the East Coast to run an ACA Swiftwater Rescue Instructor class. Three slots are available.
This class presumes you are already very familiar with SWR techniques and are interested in becoming an instructor for SWR classes. You can review the ACA SWR class outline on the ACA website to see what skills you will be expected to instruct upon successful completion. You must be a member of ACA and its Safety, Education, and Instruction Committee, and will need to provide your own boating gear and personal protective equipment.
Site is the South Fork of the American River, near to Lotus, California, at the Environmental Traveling Companions river camp.
