    Default Pauley dropping fast

Is anyone doing pauley tomorrow , friday, Iam I'll be there in the morn.
It looks like pauley will not last more than 7 more days. I'm going to run it on sunday too. Plenty flow left for more of Chamberlain later.

so is the dreamflows estimate for the creeks over-reporting? it's late in the year so I figure they are contributing less than normal? we were hoping to do upper pauley this weekend but if there's less than 300 cfs in the creek, it's not worth it. If anybody knows, please tell me so I don't make the trip up there for nothing.

we had lots of fun around 240. we have run it at 200. it is a bit boney in the class 2 parts but the drops are just as fun.

Default Compare Pauley to Bruch & MF Consumes above 49

I have seen the videos of Pauley and it look like a lot of fun, but I don't want to get in over my head.

I have run Brush @ a 4 and 3. I have also done MF Consumes above 49 @ a medium low flow. I had a great time but of these. Could someone that has done these runs compare them to Pauley for me?

    Thanks in advance!

I know that it is almost out of flows this year but I am just wondering.

Pauly is possible for a class IV boater with a good roll, the drops are fun and have nice pools. I havn't done the other runs you mentioned, but from what I have seen you would be fine on Pauly.

Darin hit the nail on the head, I think that you would be fine, did it today and had a blast. for your first time down scout the stuff that you can't see the bottom of, there are plenty of eddies to catch and the level is perfect for first timers, but I dont think it will last much longer. enjoy!

    Thumbs up Pauley

I ran Pauley @ 190cfs on 6/16/06. All the big brops are fine, the only one to watch out for is Pauley falls. 2 of the 4 of us got hung up a bit at the brink of the falls. The biggest problem with low water was in the class II stuff near the bottom of the run. Had a great time!
