The Santa Cruz Kayak Surf Festival is just around the corner, March 24th-26th, 2006. In an effort to get ready for this most noble event and hone those skills for the ever critical eyes of the judges, the West Coast Surf Kayaking Association (WCSKA) is planning on presenting two days of surf clinics, taught by the World Champion athletes who won in Costa Rica. It is scheduled for the 11th and 12th of February, featuring a novice-intermediate day on the 11th and an intermediate-expert day on the 12th. These clinics will be orchestrated by the team of Current Adventures and registration can be applied through their web, www.currentadventures.com. All surf vehicles and instruction will be provided, however, you are encouraged to bring your own craft if you so desire. There will be a get together at Adventure Sports Unlimited for refreshments, Jacuzzi, and videos of the day’s action each evening. The price for this chance to improve those skills and learn the new moves is $95 a day. The space is limited to 8 surfers a day so don’t delay.
