Looking for Paddlers ---Chili Bar to Coloma, Gorge , etc

I have been rafting the Yuba River for a year plus now with a solid combat roll. (Class III for the most part) I mostly use my Jackson hero but also have the Jackson fun. I am looking to run Chili Bar to Coloma, The Gorge , etc. I can only go on weekends so if there are any paddles out there that run any of the rivers I would love to tag along with someone with knowledge of the river. I will split gas, driving, etc.
I live in Lincoln. Looking too paddle new water and meet new people.

This upcoming sunday (08-19-12) I am planning to run chilibar through the gorge with one other person. You are welcome to join us if you like. It will be our first time down the run so new territory for all of us. Ya I would be down to go and carpool. I will go this weekend Aug 18th or 19th or both days. Chilli bar to the gorge sounds like fun.

I have a 4 door Tacoma. Can fit myself and 4 ppl if we need to.


I know the take out is free parking along the road but I think Chilli bar is a per boat fee to launch.

I actualy wouldnt recomend trying to paddle the whole river this late in the year since the water release isnt as constant its hard to stay with the water the whole time. You can certainly do it you just might not hit every section with optimal water.

If anybody is looking for SFA paddlers a good place is Kayak Mafia on Facebook. Its a good group of paddlers that are constantly posting trips. Gold Country Paddlers is another good option if you are willing to pay the $10 fee. Both of these groups offer access to a lot of class III boaters with the occasional class IV run thrown in.
