AW Bailey Fest 2012 is right around the corner. Bailey Fest is a whitewater festival near Denver, CO centered around a "planned release" of whitewater into the North Fork of the South Platte. Bailey Fest is Aug 10-12, 2012. We will have water in a drought year, a fantastic campground / fest site on a private meadow right along the North Fork, and great paddling on the class IV/V Bailey run, a CO classic creek run. Bailey Fest will also host the Supermax Showdown... the sickest foamie creekboating race out there. Foamies will race on a 16ft long scale model I built of the biggest class V rapid on Bailey called Supermax. Foamies will race in heats of 4 with tons of prizes from our sponsors.
