Great news indeed. Although the comment about boating flows available for 2 days in dry years is a bit disheartening. I think a huge issue is information. Most of these runs are boatable for at least a few days each year naturally, but it seems very difficult to get timely predictions about expected flows. During peak snowmelt perhaps the boating community could be informed when the utility would not pull 600cfs from Our House Dam as an example, and let us plan the weekend trip. Hopefully information on both extended flows, and requirements for better notification for regular flows can be arranged. It's good news, thanks AWA.

People should really know that other than Bob Center who has done so much for the boating community there is someone else that has worked her ass off for this project and many others like it and her name is Hilde Schweitzer. Big thanks to people like Hilde that do this work for no money at all just the love of the rivers.
