NF Feather, pulse flows, Jan and Feb 2012

PG&E will be releasing flows up to 1600 cfs in the Rock Creek and Cresta sections of the NF Feather. Peak flows will only last for 12 hours. Flows will ramp up at 400 cfs per hour, but subside at only 150 cfs per hour.

Oops edit: Dates are January 27 & 31, February 10 & 24, -- weekdays. The info is also posted on the AW release calendar for these sections.

The info was right in front of me, but did not register.

"start ramping up at 0800 at Rock Creek and 1300 at Cresta. We can ramp up at 400 cfs/hour and ramp down at 150 cfs/hour."

So you will get a long day on Rock Creek, but only a few hours on Cresta before dark.
