I just noticed that Mammoth Pool Res on the San Joaquin is spilling; it is a great class 4-5 run if you can get it. I'm not sure if the roads are...

  1. We did the South Kern last year - lots of work, but super beautiful. I'm not sure of anyone else who has been looking to do it, but my opinion is that 300-400 is probably the best flow in there. Send me an e-mail at eric at kernriver brewing dot com if you have any questions about the run.

    Hey Eric,

It's John down in LA. Hope you've had a good winter. Can't wait to get back up to Kernville. You know anyone that might be interested in the So. Kern sometime soon? Just toying with the idea of trying to get on that this year...I don't know much about it other than it's long and looks beautiful. Is this a good time to try to get in there? Looks like the flows are pretty good.

    See you soon.

    John
