I was helping a friend recover from his first spill on Old Scary when someone mentioned the Govenator was not too far behind us. Sure enough a few seconds later he floated by. My friend waved and Arnie gave him a thumbs up. Quite comical if you ask me.

We then passed him again around the mobscene at Camp Lotus.

This is not the first time for the Gropenator on the S.F.A. I'm familiar with the company that took him down his first year in office. Seen the picture. Wonder how he feels about his chubby kids?
I think it's freakin hilarious that he's taking time off from the stupendously bad job he's doing to waste time on the S.F.A. instead of trying to accomplish all those marvelous things he promised in order to get elected. I'm just sorry I wasn't there to heckle him the entire trip down the river, and people who know me know I would to. I could think of plenty to talk about for the entire trip. So I'd say the Nazinator got off light considering most of the paddlers I know do not like him. I'm sure everybody was just kissin' A and sucking D' the whole time. I'd love to hear if anybody had the balls to yell at the man. Oh that's right anybody with balls was on the N.Feather or working or taking the day off from to much work or to much paddle.

I'm of the LoTEP aka "Lesser of Two Evils Party" so it isn't for any political reasons why it was comical. It was comical from the standpoint that the rift with the little dude in a bright orange PFD and HUGE arms was the Govenator. I guess in my minds eye I always see him weilding a machine gun and dispensing one liners like "I'll be back" non-stop.

as for why am I not enlisted, I signed up when I was 18 but was denied due to scolosis of the spine and flat feet you, ass. I was not able to go so I could fight to protect your rights, but then again you wouldn't understand that because your head is too far up your ass. And I hope you never need help or a shuttle from this Republican, I would always help a fellow paddler, but in your case I would make an exception. Look back and see the hurt psycho brought upon himself. He threw down the first gauntlet by refering to democrats in that oh so negative way the repugs. have. You know, dragging the terms liberal/democrat through the mud just like they've been dragging this country through the dirt for years. The original comment of this thread made no political judgement of the man just that it's comical to see him on the river. And I would agree as I have seen the picture of Ahhhnold coming through Satan's. If I saw Stallone, Willis, or (insert action star here)in a raft on the slo fo I'd probably find it just as amusing. In fact many of my customers got the biggest kick out of how silly they look in their rafting pictures. And Psycho made of it what he did.
Also psycho brought up paddling with your snide comment about "don't expect shuttle help..." or something like that. And that is comical since I haven't seen the C to G in at least four years so it warranted mentioning since you seem to rate your shuttle services so goddamned high you felt the need to threaten me with the loss of said services which I've never needed. So I pointed out that your skills preclude you from making such comments to the majority of people on this site. Save your shuttle threats for the planner in other words.

I would hope that anyone who enjoys a river whether to fish, kayak, skinny dip, or simply hike along it would want to protect the resources for future use. I never said to flip him off, I do welcome his presence rafting. Only wanted to make the point that because he is there enjoying it doesn't mean if push comes to shove and a big industry contribution is made to his campaign fund that he would act in the best interest of the environment. That said, since this has become republican and democrat bashing I would like to quote a little interview I heard.

I have never understood what people have against liberals. We stand for inclusion, understanding, and acceptance. We believe that the people should come before the corp. or the church. That the corp. and the church are not "people". We believe in the fundamental concept of "We the People" and understand that We are the govt. We believe that their are personal freedoms but they only extend so far until the rights of the "people" as a whole must take priority. We represent a broader spectrum of the American social/political culture than the right. So how have the words "liberal, and democrat" become so negative? Look them up in the dictionary and you find some very positve adjectives describing us.

So "ref" since I am the one who posted about Putah, my goal was to make it "not a secret" run. I have been paddling it since early spring both on weekdays and weekends and have NEVER seen another person on it. Now I do not pretend to think that it has never been done before, but I am confident in saying that both on the web and in print Lower Putah Creek is a "secret" run in essence because no one knew about it. Maybe it was just "my secret", but never-the-less no one knows about it.

Beginner I may be, and I will gladly say I am, but what does that have to do with my desire to share info on a great local run with reliable flow? I MADE that link and webpage, I can pull it down in a second if I choose. That information is from me and my experience. How do you see what I posted as anything other than some good will and karma sharing info on the net with NorCal paddlers??

I agree, I should have been more clear. By saying "not willing to do Trouble Maker" I assumed people would understand meaning Coloma to Greenwood (the Class II section). I guess I gave reading comprehension too much credit. However, it is a step up from CtoG so I'll stand by that assessment.
