Lost Blue and White Karnali in Giant Gap

Boat is pinned two bends below Locomotive Falls in center of river. It has/had three dry bags, green, purple standard dry bags and yellow watershed drybag. Also Werner Sidekick with Creek Mitts pogies.


Boat may have been seen below Yankee Jim's in bushes

We were paddling through the Gap on 6/2 and saw this boat, still pinned up against a large boulder in the center of the river at the top of a long rock garden. The rapid is immediately after the right hand bend below "Five Alive" rapid. We would have tried to free it, but it looks extremely difficult to set up any sort of anchor anywhere near it. We also had flows above 2000cfs, perhaps at a very low flow of 1000cfs or less...???
