Posting this now is definitely a longshot, but I am wondering if anyone has seen or picked up a Werner Sherpa 4-piece breakdown paddle on the Poe section of the North Fork Feather River during the last couple of months (I lost it just before Thanksgiving). I figure that if anyone had seen or picked it up he would have already contacted me through boof.com or phone (number is on both blades), but I wanted to double-check. Now that the flows are down I finally had a chance to go back in the canyon this weekend to check the sieves where I lost the paddle (the ugly boulder pile drop above Patchin’s Passion) and a couple of miles downstream but had no luck. At this point it could be anywhere.
