Around the middle of September they will open the gate releasing water from French Lake. Their target is 100cfs. They will leave this setting for about two weeks during which flows will decrease as the head decreases. They will then readjust to shoot for 100cfs again.

Please do not call for flow information as I will call them again to get more exact dates. Also, plan to takeout at Sawmill and not Bowman as the release will terminate in Sawmill for the first 2-4 weeks.


Yes, 100cfs is low but enough. This is a tiny creek and 200cfs could very well be stomping.
