On Saturday May 6th at the take out of the Salmon Falls on the gorge of the South Fork of the American river my AT paddle was taken. The parking lot was very busy and gear from different parties was scattered on the ground.
The nice group of kayakers next to me were on a road trip. A total of four boaters - three boaters from Montana Bozeman Big Sky area and on guide from the Tuolumne. I am hoping by accident you loaded my paddle into your vehicle considering all our gear was so close.
If you read this and have my paddle I would be more than grateful to get it returned. The AT graphite paddle was a bent shaft with a nice wrap of duck tape in middle of the shaft. My name is faded out and I assume it is hard to read.
