Sonoma County boaters get out and run it. Went and did the quick blast trip after work and the water is a flowing. First run the gauge was at two feet and by the time we finished our second run it was at three feet. I thought I liked it better when it was lower but now I think I have changed my mind and like the fast water.
What is the highest flow any one out there has done this run at? Bring on the water!

Jibmaster,
I noticed you are up in Angwin any little creeks up there that might be fun to run when it's raining. Just looking for new territory to discover. Sent my scout out (Carnage) today looking for new flowing water and he found a little creek that we may try when it is raining hard (can't remember what the hell it is called).

I've often thought of hiking down to the Punch Bowl in Bell Canyon. There is a 10-15 foot falls that I want to run.
All other creeks are too small.
I've also thought of Maacamas Creek on the 128/Chalk Hill Rd., east of Healdsburg.
Pope Creek could be good as well.
Eticuera Creek along Knoxvill/Berryessa Rd. might go.
Also, Moore Creek. It starts in the mounain bike park behind Pacific Union College. Too small there, but it could be good from Los Posadas State Forest down to Pope Valley Rd. I crossed it several times today on my bike; it's raging!
I need to pull my head out of my ass and start checking some of these places out!
What days do you have off?

I think Carnage may have been looking at Mayacamas Creek today, along with a couple of others. I have weekends off (as I am a teacher) but I occasionally ref. on the weekend. I am feeling a sickness that will be coming on Thursday (damn I better boat). We are trying to go do Bear Creek if the water gods will cooperate with us. It will be an early morning expedition because my one body has to be back to work in Santa Rosa by 3:00.
Lets hit some creeks in your area soon. Sometimes it's just fun to explore and see how much fun the creeks are.
