anybody paddling this weekend? i was looking at upper hayfork or the box. id paddle something easier, just want to get on the water. hope to hear from someone. also, is there a better place to meet people to PADDLE with in the northern ca. area? no luck on this site, lots of chat though. thanks.

I am gonna check out some new creeks this sunday and monday, if you want to come with me. Should rain so I am thinking rock creek, montgomery creek, hat creek, hatchet creek, squaw shasta arm, or the pit, whichever is running I plan on given it a go. all are in the norcal redding area. If you want to come it would be cool. 530-357-4719 if we find nothing else running, we can do the box. Another option is upper northfork cottonwood creek. very fun run. nice 20 footer thats great for pictures, I'd be game on that one too. If you come through platina check out begum creek to see if it's flowing, we could do that one maybe.

ps, i don't check my e-mail on weekends so call if your serious. upper hayfork is very fun. watch out for the rebarb in the fish ladder if you go. easy bike shuttle.
